The brakes are about as straightforward as they come, but the axle seal is a little more involved than you might expect. To get the axle out far enough to replace the seal, the entire rear knuckle has to come off the vehicle. It's not a particularly difficult repair, but it does take some time and a little patience. We'll walk through the process of removing the rear suspension components, pulling the axle, replacing the leaking seal, and then wrapping things up with a rear brake service. Nothing fancy, just another day in the rust belt fixing cars and trying to keep them on the road. Thanks for watching!
