        <description>A demonstration of an HF regenerative receiver tuning the 10 MHz (31 metre) shortwave broadcast band. Despite the large case the set here is solid state. It uses MPF102 FETs for the RF preamp and detector and an LM386 (or similar) for the AF amplifier. A wire antenna was used and conditions were poor at the time this video was taken (late morning).
