<description>The start of the next project. In this video we form footings on a stepped lot. The engineered footing design on this job is 18" wide x 8" deep with 2 #4 rebar grade 60. J hooks or vertical steel is #4 grade 60 rebar 24" tall with a 6" tail, or hook. We are required to alternate those verts and we can't "wet set" but they have to be secured. For that we use https://www.grabbbarr.com/snapbar Instead of bending bar onsite, I order the J hooks as well as 30" x 30" 90's for corner overlaps Any bar onsite is cut using a cordless grinder. Our footing boards are 2x6 Doug Fir that are used 1 time for footings, then used up in the framing. Common to our area in residential construction is the use of a line pump instead of a boom pump. It is less expensive and part of the service is that they run the hose. We save money and have extra labor onsite. The concrete mix is 6 sack 60/40 pea with fly ash and both times we've tested it, it was north of 3500 psi (one text was over 4000 psi. Commercial work includes social media like YouTube if you plan to make an income off of that. I watched a video about this last May and then purchased the Part 107 Course https://sso.teachable.com/secure/245841/checkout/1320802/bundle-remote-pilot-plus-maneuvers?coupon_code=FRAMERS100&amp;affcode=245841_0eauthdo I studied and learned for 1 month and then took my test. I scored a 95%, which is a testament to how good Greg and the crew over there teach.
