It makes various beat noises and rhythms. There's six audio oscillators - two low frequency and four high frequency. The two low frequency oscillators can trigger two of the high frequency oscillators, making some interesting effects possible. A light dependent resistor and touch plates allow even more variations. Machines like this tend to polarise people - they're either loved or hated. Some like the lifelike rhythms or buzzes created, while others dismiss the output as discordant cacophany that is not music. In case anyone is wondering this machine is not very original and I took some short cuts. There's numerous circuits for drone machines and simple synthesisers on the web and being audio are easier to get going first time than radio gear. And as shown in the video it's definitely worthwhile having the function of LF frequency oscillators triggering HF oscillators.
