<description>Someone contacted me asking about bump-resistance in locks and when it became apparent in our conversation that few off-the-shelf products are highly bump-resistant, talk turned to adding in one or two Ilco anti-bump driver pins... http://www.kaba-ilco.com/key-systems/products/replacement-cylinders/293382/bump-halt.html http://s1147.photobucket.com/user/LockDocWa/media/BumpPins_S_zpse72263f8.jpg.html ....and she expressed interest in her and her son doing the installation of these special parts instead of going through a locksmith. I am a fan of the DIY ethic, so I offered to shoot this little video describing the process. 😃 Here goes! A guide to taking a conventional lock and adding some bump-resistance (and in this case, pick-resistance, as well) by swapping out some of the driver pins.</description>
