They still work well, but they're bulky and hot and I never really use them anymore. There are some other electronic hearing protection products but I wanted to experiment for a bit with options that don't require batteries. (Hearing aid batteries have a notoriously short lifespan, even when not in use. On standby they discharge even faster than LiOn batteries due to their Zinc-Air chemistry.)
