This will be accomplished using LoRa devices, and I've seen where T-Beam devices are shown a lot on other radio related channels, but I have yet to see mention of these alternative devices from RAK Wireless, called WisBlocks that are capable of using a LoRa module that can run Meshtastic on them. From all of my testing, these are my favorite for fixed location deployment.
