Setting up the YubiKey on Ubuntu (Desktop and Server)

How CloudLinux Plans to Keep CentOS 6 Alive

Review - The Verix 9100 Linux Laptop from ZaReason

ZaReason has closed its doors as of 11/24/2020. It surprised me just as much as I'm sure it surprised many of you. I'm very sad, it was such an awesome company. I thought this laptop was great, but I couldn't have predicted that they would close their doors just over a month after this video was uploaded. I thought about taking the video down, but it was a fun video to do and it's mildly entertaining, so I decided to leave it up. Check out the Oryx Pro from System76 if you're looking for a similar device.

Time for another laptop review! This time I have the Verix 9100 in the studio sent over from ZaReason, an awesome local Linux laptop vendor that has some great hardware available. In this video, I'll give you my thoughts on their 17-inch laptop and even show off some gameplay of Doom Eternal running on it.

UChecker is an open-source utility that can be used to detect insecure shared libraries that are in memory on your server. UChecker is written in Python, and available on Github. In this video, I show some basic detail about the script and a few sample runs.

Why we shouldn't judge Linux based on its inability to run Unsupported Apps

Linux is a great platform, but it's just that, a platform. Many people out there judge Linux based on unofficial metrics, such as its inability to run unsupported apps such as those made for Windows. In this video, I talk about why this is a problem for the community, and why the inability of Linux to run unsupported apps isn't an accurate measure of its value.
